Venue: Elizabethan Fort, Barrack Street

Project Description:
Teatr Biuro Podrozy is Poland's most experimental and exciting theatre company, using movement, modern acting techniques, spectacular sets and skilled actors to create moments of the most sublime contemporary theatre.

This open air performance, whose basic subject is the problem of evil and the weakness of human nature, used the dramatic setting of the newly refurbished Elizabeth Fort to create a most modern drama – exciting, technically stunning, with references to the age old themes of the Shakespearean tragedy ‘MacBeth’.

The performance made spectacular use of a moving set, motorbikes, stilts and fire, enthralling Cork audiences. ‘What Bloodied Man is That?’ was Teatr Biuro Podrozy's first full production in Ireland.
