“...an unforgettable theatrical journey.”

Project Description:
Compagnie Jo Bithume (France), one of the largest off-site theatre companies in the world, is a company who define the European tradition of street theatre.
It brought the world premier of this production to Cork, with 3,000 people a night viewing the theatrical, visual and acrobatic performance. The actors and musicians performed in the middle, around and above the audience (and also with them), revealing the story of Victor Frankenstein and his Creature in moments of poetry, drama and comedy.
The massive set, transformed the Grand Parade space into a ship, which transformed itself into a mountain, a laboratory, a castle... with the ship’s sail doubling as a giant projection screen.
A spectacular highlight of the year and the centrepiece of the June Bank Holiday Weekend celebrations.
