Project Description:
The Merchant of Venice saw Cork’s Corcadorca stage its biggest production to date.
Inspired by the twin estuaries of the River Lee and encompassing the entire city. This modern dress, promenade production began at a concealed riverside city location in an old distillery building before crossing the city in a blast of music and mayhem for Shylock's extraordinary courtroom scene, filmed live and broadcast onto the newly refurbished façade of the city courthouse.
