Project Description:
Graffiti Theatre Company presented a newly commissioned play, ‘Is Iomaí Slí’, by talented young Irish Playwright Bairbre de Barra. The production was available to schools in the Easter term of 2005.

Dráma is ea é seo faoi chloch beag agus é ar aistear aonarach ar thór clainne agus comhluadair. Ní bhíonn sé i bhfad leis féin agus é ag déanamh a bhealach trín saol. Castar grúpaí difriúla air; sciosúir, páipéir agus clocha. Ach cé a bheas mar chara aige? Agus cé mar namhaid? An bhfuil Connchubhar an Chloch difriúl ón chuid eile, agus an rud maith nó olc é sin? An féidir leis na grúpaí difriúla a thabhairt le chéile, agus tarraingt ar na difríochtaí sin eatarthu? Aistear dúshlánach. Ach, aistear le duais.

This is a play about a small stone that goes on a solo journey in search of family and friends. He isn't alone long as he makes his way through the world, he meets different groups; scissors, papers and stones. But who will be a friend to him? And who will be his enemy? Is Connchubhar the stone different from the others, and is that a good thing or a bad thing? Can he pull the different groups together and use their differences? A challenging but rewarding journey.
