Project Description:
Inferno was a spectacular fire show by Compagnie Deodel and Cork Community Circus. For five days before the performances, audiences watched the construction of an impressive fire structure made of scrap and fabricated metal. Then, for three nights only, the structure became an inflamed and explosive stage around which the performers performed.
Compagnie Doedel has been performing fire shows for twelve years, building and igniting impressive fire installations for large audiences throughout Europe.
Cork Community Circus provides workshops, training and projects aiming to bring circus arts and skills to Cork city and county.
