Project Description:
Yuri Shtapakov was in residency with Cork Printmakers in October. Born in Leningrad, Russia, Yuri has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1993. He works predominately in etching, monotype, aquatint and lino-cut. In 2000, he established the St. Petersburg Print Studio with Peter Belyi. He exhibits extensively in Russia, Germany, France, Switzerland and Poland.
