Project Description:
Curated by Prawat Lauchareon, a Thai artist based in New York, the Residency Programme involved six artist members of Cork Printmakers exchanging with six artists from other, similar print workshops in Ireland and abroad. Artists travelled to their host workshop to work for four weeks.

During the exchange, artists developed work in response to the theme ‘Globalisation’. They were also involved in public print demonstrations, artist talks and facilitating a series of public print projects.

The programme, which ran from June – October 2005 culminated in a body of curated, new work for exhibition in the Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh.
