Project Description:
The Cork 2005 Culture & Health Strand ‘Culture in Residence’ project had a number of elements.

Through a series of Artist Residencies, artists worked with clients and staff in healthcare settings over a period of weeks or months and in a more developmental way.

Elements of the Cork 2005 calendar e.g. festivals, exhibitions, concerts, plays, films, and other activities were adapted and programmed into various hospital and other healthcare venues in the city and county. Tickets were also acquired to various European Capital of Culture events and made available free of charge to HSE clients.
