Project Description:
Opera 2005 was established under Artistic Director Kevin Mallon. Mozart’s ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’, directed by Michael Hunt, was its first full-scale production which featured an international cast, full orchestra and chorus.
Ewan Taylor from South Africa sang the role of Figaro and the Countess was sung by Norwegian Ann-Helen Moen. The role of the Count was performed by Riccardo Simonetti from the UK and Susanna was performed by Irish-born Sandra Oman.
