Project Description:
This is an annual summer school to raise public awareness of the continuing vitality and relevance of the Classical Tradition in contemporary society.

From the creative minds of the Ancient Greeks and Romans came the ideas which underlie western European civilisation and which influence practically every sphere of our lives including the arts, architecture, education, politics, sciences and philosophy.  With the theme 'Ireland, Cork and Classical Culture' this summer school celebrated the classical connections which the city shares with the cities of Europe.

Each year the Association holds a summer school to raise public awareness of the continuing vitality and relevance of the Classical Tradition in contemporary society.
