There’s no place like home. A collaboration between Cork based film production company Frameworks Films and Togher Family Centre, this short documentary focuses on local authority housing in Togher on the southside of Cork city and explores the links between housing, social networks and the community. Some residents of the flats in the Deanrock Estate speak of the unfolding plans to develop the area by knocking or re-developing the flats. For many of those in the process of being re-housed, there’s no place like Togher. The film looks at how the local residents are being accommodated.
