Project Description:
Murphy's Live 2005, the hottest new addition to the Irish music calendar, presented the best up and coming Irish bands supporting some of Ireland's top live acts! Fostering new Irish talent, a total of eight bands were selected from demos received, to join the bill at Murphy's Live gigs in intimate music venues in Dublin, Waterford, Cork and Killarney. They supported bands such as The Pony Club, Alphastates, The Frank and Walters and Fred.

Two bands were selected in each area to support the headlining bands for each area and won music vouchers worth €500, the overall winning band won €2,000 of studio recording time.
